If you are passionate about preserving the Ag Reserve from further encroachment by development, the county’s upcoming Roundtable Workshop on February 17 in West Palm Beach will provide invaluable look at the competing interests in the Reserve.

Don’t miss one of the advance staff sessions on Feb. 2nd or 5th.  The Planning staff will lead these sessions. They are designed to help interested persons “fully review and understand the assumptions and analysis process” used in the Ag Reserve proposals and concepts to be discussed at the Feb. 17 roundtable, according to the announcement from PBC senior planner Maria Bello. These sessions will offer more details on the potential impacts of the proposals.

An opportunity for public comment to be made online will follow these staff technical sessions (dates to be announced).

“Comments received through this process will be available for viewing by all interested parties, and representatives of each Interest Group will specifically be asked to review and consider the posted comments in preparation for the Roundtable discussion,” announced Ms. Bello in an email for interested persons.

The results of the 2nd Roundtable on the Ag Reserve will be presented at a county commission workshop on Tuesday, March 24.
