A certain politically-connected developer in Palm Beach County would have greatly benefited from a state law provision that, if passed, would have stripped local government of the ability to make decisions on agricultural parcels. But thanks to citizen calls, reported the 1000 Friends of Florida, that provision failed to make into law during the 2015 session of the Florida legislature.
