Boca Del Mar is one of the largest and oldest Planned Unit Developments in Florida, encompassing a population of about 25,000 persons. It has also been home to some of the most active residents who have fought for years to prevent development on their master planned golf course, known as Mizner Trail.

Member residents will get a chance to pose questions on the latest updates concerning both Mizner Trail and the privatized north course known as Via Mizner at the Annual Meeting January 11.

In a surprise move, Vice President of the BDMIA, Brian Coleman, has resigned. The Board is expected to appoint someone to finish out his term.

In addition, members have the power to vote for candidates to fill three open seats on the Board, including a new face, Sandra Hannan. According to her bio, Sandra is a registered real estate broker and has “worked for developers for 30 years.” The other two candidates are incumbents Bob Schneider and Steven Foster.
