Join the Fight Against Overdevelopment! We know you place great value in the quality of life of our neighborhoods and community. The organization, Alerts of PBC, Inc., was formed for the purpose of maintaining that quality of life and the country character of within Palm Beach County’s western rural areas and prevent overdevelopment.
The BCC voted 5 to 2 on October 29, 2014, to approve Minto West’s application to scale up to 4,500 homes and 2.1 million sq. ft. of commercial space in a space of a little over five square miles in this western Palm Beach County area. See BCC Approves Mega Development. The fight is expected to be continued in the legal arena, and in mitigating the impact of the mega-developent on traffic and tax burdens of existing residents .
Your donation will assist Alerts of PBC in hiring the necessary experts, which will include attorneys, land use planners, and traffic consultants, as well as other incidental expenditures, to continue their work.
The Acreage and Loxahatchee communities’ proximity to wetlands, the Everglades, county water supplies and wildlife preserves also make the success of the citizens important for generations to come.
