The Zoning Commission is meeting 9 a.m. Friday, Dec. 5, to consider applications for various zoning changes and variances, Planned Unit Developments, and Development Order Amendments, involving:

AG Reserve – G.L. Homes

  • Rezoning in the area at the Northwest corner of Lyons Road and Boynton Beach Boulevard. Boynton Beach Associates XXII, LLLP by G.L. Homes, Agent. Request is for allowing a rezoning from the Agricultural Reserve Planned Unit Development (AGR-PUD) Zoning District to the Agricultural Reserve (AGR) Zoning District with a Conditional Overlay Zone (COZ).(Amestoy AGR) (Control 2005-00162).

Hypoluxo – Military Trail (Dazco Center)

  • Rezoning Districts in an area on the south side of Hypoluxo, west of Military Trail. Request is to changing Zoning Districts for Commercial High Office (CHO) and the Agricultural Residential (AR) Zoning Districts to the Community Commercial (CC) Zoning District. (Dazco Center) (Control 2003-00040). This area is in county District 3.

Variances for Valencia Cove and North Cove

The recommendations of the Zoning Commission will be forwarded to the County Commission for a public hearing on January 8 2015. The Commission may take final action or issue an advisory recommendation on accepting, rejecting or modifying the recommendations of staff.

The January 8 Board of County Commissioners of Palm Beach County public hearing will be held at 301 N. Olive Avenue, West Palm Beach, FL, in the Jane M. Thompson Memorial Chambers, 6th Floor, at 9:30 A.M. on Thursday, January 8, 2015 to take final action on the applications considered by the advisory Zoning Commission at its Dec. 5 meeting.

The day following the BCC commission hearing on the above –January 9 — the BCC will hold another of its Ag Reserve Roundtable Discussions.
