A NorthPalm Beach architect has written an ‘obituary’ for two 100-year-old city streets that will be put asunder by a new train station for the All Aboard Florida train service, according to a report by The Palm Beach Post.

In the obit for the two streets, whose history goes back 100 years, on his website, Timothy Hullihan, is asking that “in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Citizens for Thoughtful Growth.” That’s the group that filed suit in February to overturn the city’s approval of the giant waterfront condominium tower at the former “Chapel by the Lake” site. Developers in turn have filed a lawsuit against the “Citizens” grassroots group, claiming unfair interference. The Citizens group claims some 400 members, most of them in or near downtown.
